White House Recognizes Boston Medical Center Rooftop Farm
This CBS Boston highlight features the rooftop RAMM farm atop Boston Medical Center, which was recognized by the White House in 2022 as a model for how other medical centers can provide their patients with green views and fresh, locally-grown produce. The BMC farm, which was designed and installed by Recover, continues to provide over 5,000 pounds of produce to the hospital per year.

Boston Medical Center Rooftop Farm
Recover designed the BMC rooftop farm to provide maximum growth potential for the size and scale of the roof and installed the system on Earth Day 2017. The farm now provides over 5,000 lbs. of produce a year for BMC’s Preventative Food Pantry as well as other Nourishing Our Community programs. Check out this video to learn more about the farm!
Making of a Rooftop Courtyard

Recover Green Roofs worked with Gatto Development to transform a rooftop common space for luxury apartments in New Canaan, Conn., into a parklet complete with 30-foot-tall, heat-tolerant river birches. Square Globe Studios was there to capture the install in this video.
