COLLABORATING FOR GREENER GATHERING SPACES
Ink Block is a multi-block residential neighborhood that sits on a six-acre lot in the South End, previously home to the Boston Herald. A focal point of the residences is a large outdoor common area with turf lawn, gardens, patio, deck, skyline pool, and lounge area.
Recover worked with Copley Wolff and Greenwood Industries to assist this green roof build-out, installing a fully automated smart irrigation system that features telescopic pop-up sprinkler heads to gain height over the tall plant palette.
