SEDUM ROOF VIEWS
The University Crossing building at UMASS Lowell serves as a center of student activity, connecting the University’s three campuses as well as the city’s downtown business and cultural districts.

Recover installed three separate sedum tray green roofs on the new building, totaling roughly 3,000 square feet. All roofs consist of LiveRoof extensive sedum trays and pavers. The roofs are visible from the second-story walkway around the central atrium, providing beautiful views for students, faculty, and visitors. The green roofs are designed to mitigate stormwater runoff and provide a layer of insulation that will enhance the building’s energy performance in summer.
