SEDUM ROOF VIEWS
The University Crossing building at UMASS Lowell serves as a center of student activity, connecting the University’s three campuses as well as the city’s downtown business and cultural districts.

Recover installed three separate sedum-tray green roofs on the new building, totaling roughly 3,000 square feet. All roofs consist of LiveRoof extensive sedum trays and pavers. The roofs are visible from the second-story walkway around the central atrium, providing beautiful biophilic views for students, faculty, and visitors. The green roofs are designed to mitigate stormwater runoff and provide a layer of insulation that will enhance the building’s energy performance in summer.
