MEADOW ROOF
The Center for Agriculture and Natural Resources at State University of New York Cobleskill is a state-of-the-art facility designed to connect academic departments and engage the local community. Atop the building sited along a hillside, Recover installed a 12,000-square-foot native meadow roof consisting of extensive and intensive soil depths that blurs the lines between the natural and built environment. The roof is home to a broad array of sedums and native species of grasses, flowering perennials, and several varieties of edible and medicinal plants.

The roof is incorporated into course curriculum at the school, and team members from Recover periodically make guest appearances to speak about the industry.
