LIVELY, LIVEABLE SPACE
This sunlit sedum balcony overlooks a family-run permaculture homestead in the foothills of southern Vermont and is directly accessible from the residence’s master bedroom. Flagstone stepping stones rest between patches of yellow flowering sedum, and creative natural elements complement the sophisticated rural style of the home.

Recover conveyed and installed a ZinCo green-roof system but left a blank canvas for the homeowners who did all the planting. This deck is a shining example of underutilized roof decks turned into valuable living space.

“We really do love it. It’s like being on some outrageous vacation every time you step out onto the roof, then we realize that we actually live here! The stars look better from up there, as do the fireflies. Thank you for helping to make this our reality." -- client // homeowners
