Recover worked with Taylor and Miller Architecture and Design and the owners of this lakefront home to create a plant palette of tall grasses, ferns, and sedum that enhances the modern style of the building and maintains a natural waterfront feel.
WHOLE FOODS ROOFTOP FARM
Recover outfitted this rooftop farm with a smart irrigation system that monitors temperature, humidity, solar exposure, and wind, which detects the rate of evapotranspiration and schedules irrigation accordingly.
MAD OYSTER GREEN ROOF
This roof garden was designed to enhance an existing roof deck common area surrounded by a hot black rubber roof. Clients initially planned to cover only half the roof but quickly fell in love with the space and had Recover install the other half the following season.
HARVARD BUSINESS SCHOOL GREEN ROOF
Recover worked with OMNI Ecosystems to install a multi-tiered meadow roof ecosystem on Harvard Business School's McArthur/McCollum Hall that was designed to mimic the natural cycles of a meadow and regenerate with each season.

Recover designed the farm to provide maximum growth potential for the size and scale of the roof. This system is our most efficient farming system to date, complete with organic compost media, remote-monitored drip irrigation, and durable roof membrane protection.
