Recover Green Roofs, LLC

Our name is inspired by the visionary architect Malcolm Wells, author of Recovering America. In his book, Wells illustrates how standard building practices have scraped away the planet's natural surfaces in order to make room for new developments. Recover's goal is to minimize the impact of development by protecting a building's envelope with a vegetated blanket, providing a wide range of ecologic and economic benefits.

BRENDAN SHEA

Brendan’s career is grounded in over ten years of experience working for the New England representative of Clivus Multrum, specializing in innovative, onsite wastewater engineering. A LEED accredited professional, Brendan has worked on over a dozen LEED projects and has extensive experience with project management and design/build implementation. His projects include designing and building indoor greywater recycling and aerobic blackwater treatment systems, which address structural support, system integration, waterproofing, drainage and plant vitality — the fundamentals of green roofs. His natural transition into the green roof industry allows Brendan to combine his passion for plants with his knowledge of water engineering.
